Family-led, market-aware, and built for long-term relationships. Pravara Diam was founded in 2015 by Rachin Shah as an expansion of the family diamond business. The company reflects a family-led approach rooted by in-depth trade knowledge, continuity, and close customer engagement.

Before establishing Pravara Diam, Rachin Shah joined the family business in 2012, engaging in the rough diamonds vertical of the business . The wider family background includes long-standing involvement in Antwerp and the diamond trade, with experience spanning both rough and polished diamonds. That dual exposure gives the business a broader commercial lens and helps us adapt and react quickly to changing market conditions.

Rachin Shah holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master’s in Accounting from Babson College in Boston, USA. Prior to returning to the family business, he worked at  Tranzmute Capital & Management Pvt. Ltd. in Mumbai.

Today, Pravara Diam operates as a European-facing platform partnered with Red Exim Group, combining local market proximity with access to deeper manufacturing and sourcing understanding.
